February’s Dual Delights
Upskill your woodland knowledge at our Winter Tree ID Workshop (Golspie Sutherland, 22nd February): Delve into the secrets of the Scottish woodlands and learn to identify native trees by shape, bark and charactor. This workshop combines education with exploration, making it a perfect outing for nature lovers. Lead by Marcia.
Puffins, Life in the Seabird Cities of Scotland (Online Event, 26th February): An engaging online exploration into the lives of puffins, hosted by a Kirsty our knowledgeable Caithness Ranger. March Awakens with Ancient Woodlands for calm and community
Ancient Woodland Walk (13th March): Wander through Loch A’Mhuilinn’s ancient oak woodland, discovering its rich biodiversity and the serene beauty of Scotland's natural heritage. This walk offers a unique glimpse into a world reminiscent of a tropical rainforest. Led by Donald
The Annual Dingwall Spring Clean (Saturday, 16th March), embodies the spirit of community and environmental stewardship. Join us at Maggie’s Wood in Dingwall to pick up litter and beautify our shared spaces. This event not only offers a chance to contribute positively to the local environment but also promises the warmth of community bonding over refreshments and shared goals. Enjoy an 9km guided walk Borgie Glen to Naver Bridge Walk (28th March) with Paul, passing through forest, hill ground and the coastal edge. Visit 'The Unknown' a hidden sculpture before, passing hill lochs and on to the coastal edge. Lots of wonderful open countryside, stunning views and also enjoy your packed lunch by a lovely, scenic hill loch. Led by Paul.
April Adventures: Peat Roads and Seashores
Vist the Clachtoll Peat Road Walk (3rd April): A 10km journey through Assynt’s most striking landscapes, exploring historical sites and the unique wildlife of the Highlands. This walk promises an unforgettable adventure into Scotland’s rugged beauty. Led by Andy

May’s Highlights: Limestone Valleys, Leatherwork and Accessible Nature experiences
