Hi Iona, Yes I used AI to generate some images for each part of this story - much as we did for the non-fictional story of Andy's tale of the Owl stuck in the chimney in "Down The Chimney". There are pros and cons to using AI images. Many you see on Nature posts in social media are very inaccurate representations, so we try to source photographic images for most of our articles.
My favourite article so far, what a wholesome tale. Beautiful images too, were they AI-generated by chance? Such a whimsical feel.
